About me

Hello, I am Wassil, an interested and curious master student in architectural engineering at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.  I have a fervent curiosity and a keen eye for innovation. Born and raised in the heart Belgium, I always had an interest for engineering and architecture and chose to start studies in the field of architectural engineering. Throughout my educational journey, I’ve had the privilege of acquiring a diverse set of skills and knowledge in the realms of architecture, engineering, and construction increasing my curiosity for digital frabrication, modelling surveying methods and much more.

Digital fabrication

After an introduction to digital fabrication, I became passionate about the subject and decided to buy my first 3d printers and lasercutters along others tools.

Modelling

I also started learning softwares like revit and rhino and explored processes that takes advantages of each one through the use of rhino.inside and much more.

Surveying

Surveying is the usal way of starting a renovation. I developed an interest for processes like photogrammetry and lidar scanning. With the use of a drone, I scanned the campus for a current projet.

Agriculture

Obviously, there is more than meets the eye. I have many other passions, one of which is agriculture, I take a lot of pride in harversting the earth on my father’s land, on the left.
